Notice: Call for Applications — Green Funding under MZ5.5 (Idea Nurturing for Green Innovation and Green Initiatives)

1. Preamble The Mizoram Startup Mission (MSUM), acting as the Implementing Agency for the RAMP-supported Memiz Pilot Green Cluster and Green Initiative, hereby invites applications from eligible green enterprises in the State of Mizoram under the above initiative.

2. Objective The initiative is intended to extend need-based grant support to revenue-generating green enterprises for the expansion of their environmental and business impact, and to build a pipeline of green MSMEs for continued mentorship and market linkage under the Memiz Green Cluster.

3. Eligibility Applicants shall satisfy the following conditions:

(a) The applicant shall be a registered business entity, based and operating within the State of Mizoram;

(b) The applicant's enterprise shall already be revenue-generating; applications at the idea or prototype stage shall not be considered;

(c) The applicant's project shall demonstrate a clear green or environmental dimension (including, but not limited to, renewable energy, waste management, circular economy, water/energy conservation, sustainable agriculture, or clean technology).

4. Financial Assistance Grant-in-aid shall be extended to selected enterprises, the quantum whereof shall be determined on assessment of the applicant's investment need. The grant is non-repayable and shall not carry any equity or interest obligation. Disbursement shall be effected in milestone-linked tranches, subject to satisfactory progress reporting. Funding support shall remain available through the currency of the initiative, which shall stand closed not later than 31st March, 2027.

5. Selection Process (i) Call for applications; (ii) Screening; (iii) Interview; (iv) Site-visit validation; (v) Assessment of investment needs; (vi) Funding allocation and monitoring; (vii) Closure.

6. Mode of Application Applications shall be submitted online through the prescribed application form, or in person at the office of MSUM.
