About MSUM

 Mizoram Startup Mission (MSUM) is a government registered Society created for the purpose of managing startup ecosystem in Mizoram and to promote entrepreneurship culture in the state. MSUM is formed under the Planning and Programme Implementation Department. MSUM has been promoting startups and entrepreneurs who are at the early stage of development since 2017 through Mizoram Kailawn and Mizoram Rahbi programmes. 

MSUM has developed a revamped incubation programme and is in the process of launching an Alternative Investment Fund registered under SEBI.

Job Role

MSUM is looking for an intern who will work in the Incubation Team under Programme Managers at MSUM Aizawl Office.

Individuals in this role will assist the Programme Manager (Incubation) in creating and managing processes to deliver improved services and experience to our incubatees and entrepreneurs at large. The role will also include deep study and research in sectors and industries to identify potential investment areas as well as to nurture and handhold our incubatees. 

Job responsibilities

1. Managing incubation programme and events.

2. Assisting and handholding incubatees.

3. Conducting primary and secondary research and assisting on due diligence process.

4. Assisting on content and event marketing activities.

5. Assisting Programme Manager in scheduling meetings, arranging briefings and memos.

6. Organising capacity training and awareness programmes.

Preferences

 For this role we would lean towards candidates who:

1. Possess at least 1 year working experience in investment research or startup incubation.

2. Have Engineering, Management or Commerce degree.

3. Put in time to study about MSUM, its mission and activities.

4. Exhibit curiosity to understand startup incubation and venture funding.

Compensation 

1. An intern will get a stipend of Rs.15000 per month without any other benefits.
